My almost 3-year-old daughter has loved playing with this doll. It's very easy for her to use and very durable. It includes lots of different outfits and shoes to match each one. So cute.
It has several outfits and provides hours of fun. I purchased this for my granddaughter and she loved it the minute she opened the package. It is great for little fingers. Top quality product. Better than paper dolls for the younger child.
Melissa and Doug have a terrific product line. don't boys wear regular clothes too. The different clothing combos are a great way to practice matching, visual discrimination, pairs, opposites, body awareness, and vocabulary.
The magnetic dress up dolls are wonderful because they are sturdy, easy for little fingers to use, and FUN. Easy solution - we put the shoes in a baggie for next year and for now Maggie Leigh goes barefoot. I've bought several of their wooden toys and have been delighted with all of them.
The choking hazard warning refers to the shoes, most of which are small enough to be swallowed. I saw how much my 3 year old goddaughter liked the one she had and got a similar one for my 2 1/2 year old niece for Christmas. After her Elmo slippers it was her favorite gift -- she sat on her mom's lap and started playing while the presents were still being opened.
My only complaint is that a similar dress up set for boys has costumes for superheroes, police officer, firefighter, etc, while the girl sets only have pretty clothes. don't girls play superheroes.
This is perfect for my daughter, who loves clothes. She has so much fun changing the outfits and she can do it easily herself since it is all magnetic, what a great idea.
The only thing I didn't like about it is that there is no cover on the box. This toy is great. My daughter loves it. It is a well made toy. Good quality.
